Auxiliar de Nómina y RH Bilingüe, Payroll & HR Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Gather and examine weekly timesheets; identify missing entries and overtime prior to payroll closure.

• Input weekly or biweekly payroll into the client's payroll system and prepare it for authorization.

• Manage processes for new hires, rate adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and terminations.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, hours worked, and direct deposit in both Spanish and English.

• Assemble onboarding packets and monitor the completion of I-9 and W-4 forms.

• Maintain up-to-date employee files, certifications, and PTO balances.

• Translate HR notices, policies, and safety communications into Spanish.

• Facilitate benefits enrollment documentation with the client's broker or PEO.

• Provide assistance to organizations with substantial hourly and Spanish-speaking workforces in sectors such as construction, landscaping, cleaning, food processing, and manufacturing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in payroll, HR administration, or a combination of both, specifically for companies employing hourly workers.

• Proven experience in processing payroll for hourly staff.

• Proficient in English (B2+) and a native or fluent Spanish speaker.

• Practical experience with timesheets, overtime, deductions, and payroll processing.

• Familiarity with onboarding procedures and employee record maintenance.

• Intermediate skills in Excel.

• Demonstrated accuracy, confidentiality, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience with U.S. payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, or Paylocity.

• Understanding of I-9, W-4 forms, overtime regulations, and garnishments.

• Background in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or related fields.
