Autonomous Coding Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Design, set up, validate, and troubleshoot HL7 and FHIR interfaces, such as ADT, ORM, ORU, MDM, and financial interfaces.

• Collaborate with client integration teams, Epic analysts, and implementation consultants to implement autonomous solutions.

• Provide support for interface testing, workflow validation, and readiness activities for go-live.

• Ensure that inbound and outbound data flows align with business and technical requirements.

• Assist in charge capture, charge routing, coding, and billing processes within Epic environments.

• Validate outputs from autonomous coding and downstream billing results.

• Act as a liaison among Product Management, Engineering, Implementation Services, Customer Success, and Support teams.

• Help implementation teams resolve complex production issues and conduct root-cause analysis.

• Develop strategies to address integration challenges and optimize operational workflows.

• Contribute to best practices, implementation playbooks, and technical documentation.

• Transform innovative ideas into scalable solutions that enhance customer outcomes and speed up the adoption of autonomous technologies.

• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and security standards.

• Be prepared to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate's degree or higher, or seven (7) years of experience in computer or data integration.

• A High School Diploma/GED along with eleven (11) years of experience in computer or data integration.

• At least 3 years of experience working with HL7 and/or FHIR healthcare integration.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB) workflows.

• At least 3 years of experience with HL7 messaging standards (including ADT, ORM, ORU, MDM, DFT), Epic integration architecture, Charge Router concepts, billing integrations, interface testing, and troubleshooting.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.

• Epic certification(s) or accreditation is preferred as an additional qualification.

• Experience with autonomous coding, computer-assisted coding (CAC), CDI, or healthcare AI solutions is a valuable additional qualification.

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Healthcare Information Technology is desirable but not mandatory.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
