Automotive Translation, Chinese to Thai/Malay/Indonesian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Execute MTPE to enhance the accuracy, fluency, consistency, terminology, and adherence to style guides in machine translation outputs.

• Conduct proofreading and final QA assessments for language, terminology, formatting, numbers, units, and overall delivery readiness.

• Utilize CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartcat.

• Adhere to established project QA workflows.

• Translate and review technical and automotive materials, including product/feature content, excerpts from technical documents/manuals, after-sales/service information, and training materials.

• Facilitate long-term freelance translation partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preference for native-level Thai/Indonesian/Malay speakers.

• Experience in technical localization is mandatory.

• Automotive localization experience is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Dependable turnaround times.

• Capacity to accommodate urgent requests as necessary.

• Completion of a linguistic test is required (TR / MTPE / PR).

• Familiarity with CAT tools like Trados, memoQ, or Smartcat is essential.

• Applicants must provide their language pair(s), services offered, CV, relevant experience, CAT tools used, availability, and time zone.

• Applicants must indicate if they have ZH-CN→Thai/Malay/Indonesian automotive translation experience.

• Applicants must specify whether they are a native speaker of Chinese or Thai/Malay/Indonesian.
