This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining clients in the automotive dealership sector.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio growth by showcasing financing solutions and advocating for Westlake Floorplan Company services.
• Conduct market research to stay competitive and align offerings with industry trends.
• Manage the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Provide training and support to dealerships utilizing financing solutions and services.
• Assess dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Create and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate dealership creditworthiness.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual (English, Spanish) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry.
• Strong financial acumen with a working knowledge of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with internal team members and external partners.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work independently and remotely.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel over 75%, including some overnight trips.
• Must be able to travel, fly, and drive.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Guaranteed bonus income: $2,000 per month for the first 4 months (month 1 prorated), $1,500 for months 5 & 6, $1,000 for month 7, and $333 for months 8-12.
• Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program averaging $450.
