This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Create and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to assess their financing needs.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio growth by offering financing solutions and promoting the offerings of Westlake Floorplan Company.
• Conduct market analysis to stay competitive and align services with current industry trends.
• Manage the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance and proactively tackle client issues or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve the customer experience.
• Offer training and support to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Keep track of dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Develop and sustain risk assessment models to assess dealership creditworthiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor portfolio metrics, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Travel over 75%, with some overnight travel required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry.
• Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with clients and collaborate with both internal team members and external partners at various levels.
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and collection capabilities.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to work independently and in a remote setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a relevant field with 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel more than 75%, with some overnight trips required.
• Ability to travel, fly, and drive.
• Capacity to sit and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Guaranteed bonus income: $2,000 per month for the first 4 months (prorated for the first month), $1,500 for the 5th and 6th months, $1,000 for the 7th month, and $333 for months 8–12.
