This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and keeping dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to comprehend their financing requirements.
• Discover growth opportunities for the portfolio by showcasing financing solutions and advocating for Westlake Floorplan Company’s products.
• Perform market research to stay competitive and align offerings with industry trends.
• Supervise the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve customer experience.
• Offer training and support to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Keep an eye on dealership conditions and performance.
• Create and sustain risk assessment models to assess dealership creditworthiness.
• Partner with internal teams to guarantee compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment patterns.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial skills with a solid understanding of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to engage with clients, collaborate with internal team members, and interact with external partners at different levels within the organization.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to work both independently and in a remote setting.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a related field and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Two or more years of experience related to finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel more than 75%, including some overnight travel.
• Capability to travel, fly, and drive as needed.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for this role.
