Automation QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold automation for testing both desktop and mobile applications for essential user flows.

• Incorporate tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they remain swift and dependable.

• Analyze test failures and resolve intermittent test issues.

• Oversee test data and manage testing environments effectively.

• Document clear, reproducible bugs and confirm their resolutions.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to establish testability and acceptance criteria.

• Conduct hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing for new features.

• Determine whether to use manual or automated testing based on risk assessment.

• Sustain regression test suites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in QA automation.

• Practical experience in manual and exploratory testing.

• Proficient programming abilities in TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Familiarity with executing tests in CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.

• Direct experience with Playwright for desktop or web applications.

• Practical knowledge of WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile testing.

• Experience in testing Electron and/or React Native applications.

• Proven experience testing on actual iOS and Android devices.

• Experience utilizing AI tools in QA and critically assessing their results.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Experience in testing AI-driven applications is a plus.
