Automation QA Engineer – 100% Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold test automation for desktop and mobile applications focusing on essential user interactions

• Seamlessly integrate tests into CI/CD workflows while ensuring their speed and reliability

• Analyze test failures, rectify unstable tests, and oversee test data and environments

• Document clear and replicable bugs, and validate fixes

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to establish testability and acceptance criteria

• Conduct hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing for new features

• Determine whether to utilize manual or automated testing based on risk assessment

• Manage and update regression test suites

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in QA automation

• Practical experience in manual and exploratory testing

• Proficient programming abilities in TypeScript/JavaScript

• Familiarity with executing tests in CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions

• Direct experience with Playwright for desktop or web applications

• Practical knowledge of WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile testing

• Experience in testing Electron and/or React Native applications

• Competence in testing on actual iOS and Android devices

• Experience utilizing AI tools in QA and critically evaluating their outputs

• Strong communication skills in English
