Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Independently design, develop, test, document, and deploy automation workflows utilizing UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator.

• Convert business and operational requirements into technical workflow designs with minimal oversight.

• Create automations adhering to standards for queue-based processing, logging and auditability, exception handling, retry logic, credential and asset management, scheduling and trigger configuration, as well as secure data handling and storage.

• Oversee production automation job performance, diagnose failures, and apply long-term solutions.

• Improve and refine existing automations for enhanced performance, maintainability, and stability.

• Engage in code reviews, peer testing, and release readiness activities.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and support notes.

• Collaborate with business users during testing/UAT and production deployment phases.

• Contribute reusable components, templates, and development standards within the UiPath ecosystem.

• Adhere to organizational and regulatory privacy, security, and compliance standards.

• Identify process inefficiencies and propose practical enhancements.

• Mentor junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of practical experience in RPA/automation development.

• Extensive experience with UiPath Studio in a production setting.

• Familiarity with UiPath Orchestrator, including jobs, assets, queues, triggers, and releases.

• Expertise in workflow design, selectors, variables, arguments, debugging, and structured exception handling.

• Experience in building and maintaining automations that include logging, retry logic, and error recovery.

• Proven track record in documenting technical solutions and supporting production processes.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Stable Wi-Fi with adequate bandwidth for video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and online tasks.

• HIPAA-compliant work setting with a secure workspace.

• No use of public Wi-Fi unless connected via a secure company-provided VPN.

• UiPath developer certification is preferred.

• Experience with REFramework or a similar transactional automation framework in UiPath is preferred.

• Experience with API, AI, and/or Agentic workflows within UiPath is preferred.

• Familiarity with IXP and document understanding concepts in UiPath is preferred.

• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and terminology is preferred.

• Basic SQL/query experience is preferred.

• Experience with source control and release/change management processes is preferred.
