This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver prompt, courteous, and top-notch customer service to policyholders and claimants.
• Address customer inquiries, initiate investigations, and resolve claims effectively.
• Collect information to start claims and clarify policy details, coverage, and suitable actions.
• Manage a claims inventory and set initial reserves for potential liabilities.
• Organize repairs for damaged vehicles and assist with rental reimbursements.
• Identify recovery possibilities related to subrogation, salvage, and total loss scenarios.
• Ensure adherence to state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate with all involved parties and negotiate settlements with claimants, insured individuals, and attorneys within approved payment limits.
• Contribute insights on claims guidelines, best practices, and process enhancements.
• Supervise and manage external investigative service providers.
• Collaborate with clients, client attorneys, and investigative services to resolve claims.
• Seek learning opportunities related to personal lines claims, court rulings, claims guidelines, and policy updates.
• Applicants must reside in an eligible U.S. state during the course of employment.
• Applicants residing in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside of the United States are not eligible for hire.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred (however, candidates without one are encouraged to apply if they meet the other qualifications).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling commercial transportation claims, particularly Third-Party Property Damage/Total Loss.
• An active adjuster license is required: resident state license if available; otherwise, a Designated Home State (DHS) license.
• Willingness to obtain all necessary licenses within 60 days, including passing any state-required exams.
• Familiarity with state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures is essential.
• Commercial experience is a must.
• Ability to analyze and assess claims data, making informed decisions based on established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
