Aurora Endpoint Security Engineer 2, German Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution, integration, and enhancement of Aurora Protect and Aurora Focus solutions.

• Serve as a trusted consultant for customers, assisting them during deployments and acting as a technical escalation resource.

• Set up and fine-tune security protocols to ensure effective threat detection.

• Supervise system dashboards and escalate any anomalies to senior team members.

• Assist in scripting and automation efforts using Python or PowerShell.

• Develop and maintain customer-oriented documentation, including setup guides and FAQs.

• Relay client feedback to project leaders.

• Engage in continuous learning sessions.

• Perform responsibilities in line with information security policies, standards, processes, and controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience (advanced degree preferred).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity roles (e.g., Security Engineer, Consultant, SOC Analyst, or Endpoint Security Administrator).

• Fundamental understanding of endpoint security tools and concepts related to threat detection.

• Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) and a willingness to enhance these skills.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and terminology.

• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Business-level proficiency in both German and English.

• Team-oriented approach with a strong eagerness to learn and develop.

• Background checks are mandatory for this role.

• Authorization to handle software or technology regulated under U.S. export control laws and regulations, if applicable.
