Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Advocate and represent clients in state and federal plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation.

• Oversee an active caseload efficiently.

• Conduct and respond to discovery processes.

• Take and defend depositions as required.

• Draft and present motions in court.

• Attend court for hearings and trials.

• Provide guidance to clients throughout the litigation journey.

• Attain favorable outcomes for clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be either (a) licensed to practice law in New Jersey or (b) already licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and in the process of obtaining admission to New Jersey.

• The preferred candidate will be licensed to practice law in New Jersey and possess over 5 years of experience in civil litigation.

• Familiarity with discovery in the context of civil litigation is essential.

• Proficient oral advocacy skills and experience in appearing in court.

• Experience with motion practice.

• Competence in taking and defending depositions.

• Previous experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour cases is advantageous.

• Candidates should be willing to travel occasionally.

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
