This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Advocate for and represent clients in state and federal plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation.

• Oversee a dynamic caseload.

• Execute and respond to discovery processes.

• Conduct and defend depositions.

• Prepare and present motions.

• Attend court for hearings and trials.

• Provide guidance to clients throughout the litigation journey.

• Strive for favorable outcomes for clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a license to practice law in California or Chicago, or be licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and awaiting admission to the California Bar or Chicago Bar.

• Preferred candidate should be licensed to practice law in California or Chicago.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation is required.

• Familiarity with discovery in the civil litigation arena.

• Proficient in oral advocacy and court appearances.

• Experience with motion practice.

• Competence in taking and defending depositions.

• Previous involvement with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Chicago.
