This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of classifications and extended field of application reports that adhere to the relevant standards for construction products.

• Foster customer/client relationships by gaining an understanding of the product range, analyzing scope, and planning tests.

• Offer basic technical support to customers/clients concerning testing and classification requirements, either remotely or in person, under supervision.

• Acquire knowledge about construction products, including doors, walls, floors, service installations, linear joint seals, fire-resistant glass and glazing systems, and smoke control dampers.

• Aid in the review of technical documentation related to Technical Services and Fire Resistance.

• Adhere to laboratory protocols in line with company internal requirements and health and safety standards.

• Engage, coordinate, and communicate with all staff members to uphold customer commitments.

• Take part in team activities and contribute to creative solutions.

• Perform additional duties relevant to the role as training advances.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree/HNC level qualification in physics, engineering, or a related scientific discipline, OR A-level/equivalent qualifications demonstrating an interest in technical/scientific fields.

• A full driving license would be advantageous due to the site's location.

• A keen interest in technical/scientific areas.

• Capability to learn international testing standards and regulations.

• Competence in following laboratory procedures and health and safety protocols.

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to interact, coordinate, and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
