Associate Solutions Engineer – Global Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive technical sales engagements for a designated strategic Global Account within the financial services sector, encompassing everything from initial discovery and qualification to proof of concept delivery and technical closure.

• Create and present customized demonstrations and solution presentations that align Snowflake's platform capabilities with the customer's data challenges and business goals.

• Aid in the design and execution of proof of concept initiatives focused on risk analytics, regulatory data platforms, fraud detection, customer intelligence, and AI/ML workloads.

• Acquire a solid understanding of the customer's data architecture, cloud environment, and overall technology stack.

• Assist the Account Executive with daily deal activities, technical RFP responses, and the resolution of technical obstacles.

• Collaborate with Professional Services, Support, and Product teams to ensure the provision of suitable customer resources.

• Cultivate relationships with the customer's data engineers, architects, and technical managers, serving as a trusted point of contact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting within enterprise B2B technology, particularly with financial services organizations.

• A fundamental understanding of cloud data platforms and contemporary data architectures.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python, capable of writing and debugging scripts, constructing PoC pipelines, and working effectively in a technical customer environment.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for both engineering and business stakeholders within a financial institution.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple workstreams throughout an active sales cycle.

• A genuine interest in AI and data technology, along with a desire to deepen knowledge in Snowflake's Cortex AI capabilities and their application in financial services contexts.

• A growth-oriented mindset: open to feedback, actively seeking coaching, and driven to advance towards senior solution engineering roles.
