Associate Scientific Director – Medical Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide scientific leadership for publications and medical affairs outputs, including advisory boards, congress presentations, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, plain language summaries, and digital enhancements such as podcasts and videos.

• Deliver advanced scientific reviews and strategic insights to ensure content aligns with client objectives.

• Manage client relationships within designated accounts, fostering clear communication and dependable service.

• Guide, mentor, and empower junior writers, promoting their professional development and scientific knowledge.

• Play a key role in business development and organic growth by offering scientific insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a scientific or related discipline (advanced degree is preferred).

• At least 6 years of experience in medical or scientific writing.

• Experience in oncology is highly beneficial.

• Demonstrated ability to handle diverse scientific content while ensuring strategic coherence.

• Expertise in managing client relationships and overseeing accounts.

• Strong collaborative leadership and mentoring skills.
