Associate Project Manager, Permitting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist lead project managers in achieving permitting outcomes for clients

• Perform permit research with a strong emphasis on precision

• Aid in the preparation of permit plans

• Collaborate with municipal staff on details and uncertainties

• Track permit progress and ensure prompt responses

• Offer insights to product and engineering teams to enhance the software platform

• Partner with permitting leadership to improve standard operating procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Illinois to be eligible for this position

• Over 3 years of experience in construction management or architecture, with an emphasis on project management

• Proven experience in applying for and securing construction permits

• Capability to accurately research permit requirements

• Comfortable working with city staff and navigating administrative procedures

• Excellent communicator with a keen attention to detail

• Proactive in identifying and solving problems
