Associate Principal Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to collect requirements related to subscription management, pricing, charging, invoicing, receivables, and collections.

• Set up and oversee mass activity variants for billing, invoicing, printing, and automatic clearing across UAT and production environments.

• Configure and support subscription products, including subscription orders, contracts, renewals, cancellations, and amendments.

• Design comprehensive quotation solutions within the Subscription Order Management (SOM) system.

• Configure downstream document generation for sales orders, billable items, and subscription contracts.

• Develop and implement recurring, one-time, and usage-based charging logic, charge plans, pricing logic, and associated charging elements.

• Configure and manage billable item processing, billing, invoicing, invoice grouping, corrections, reversals, adjustments, and billing exceptions.

• Establish and support business partners, contract accounts, main and sub-transactions, and account determination procedures.

• Implement receivables processes, including incoming payments, payment allocation, clearing, returns, refunds, and dunning activities.

• Collaborate with finance teams on FI-CA integration with the general ledger and support period-end activities.

• Design functional flows in SOM for a mass upload framework that imports master agreements from legacy systems.

• Develop high-performance S/4HANA information models utilizing ADT, CDS Views, AMDP methods, and OData Services.

• Act as a subject matter expert for S/4HANA BRIM CI and FI-CA.

• Create and model custom Consumption Item (CIT) and Billable Item (BIT) classes, along with billing/sub-processes and selection/grouping variants.

• Design and implement master subscription programs using the ODI framework and BTMF classes.

• Process complex payload requests from satellite systems and ensure synchronization with non-SAP environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in SAP.

• A minimum of 3–4 full life-cycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA BRIM (SOM, CC, CI, FI-CA) and legacy CRM systems.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end blueprinting, business process mapping, configuration, custom enhancements, and post-go-live support.

• Advanced SAP ABAP development skills.

• Technical expertise in SAP BRIM.

• Functional expertise in SAP BRIM.

• Strong skills in SAP Fiori.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA BRIM (SOM).

• Background in complex implementations across Technology, Retail, Travel, and Logistics domains.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA BRIM modules, including SOM, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and FI-CA.

• Experience in developing CDS Views, AMDP methods, and OData Services using ADT.

• Competence in creating and modeling custom CIT and BIT classes, as well as billing/sub-processes and selection/grouping variants.

• Familiarity with the Order Distribution Infrastructure (ODI) framework and BTMF classes.

• Ability to work remotely from the USA.
