Associate Medical Editor – Portuguese, Brazil

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Plan, create, write, and review new medical content targeted at medical students, with an emphasis on international markets such as Brazil.

• Assess and enhance existing content on the AMBOSS platform.

• Collaborate with illustrators to develop flowcharts and visual aids.

• Incorporate user feedback and evidence-based guidelines to ensure content remains up-to-date and relevant.

• Liaise with marketing and product teams to improve the platform and interface for medical students in Brazil.

• Gain expertise in the content management system, integrating text, images, and videos for AMBOSS articles and questions.

• Work alongside dedicated physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

• Conduct literature research and elucidate complex medical topics in a clear and educational manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A recognized medical degree (preferably graduated within the last 3 years).

• Native proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese.

• In-depth understanding of the medical education landscape in Brazil, including exam structures and learning obstacles.

• Experience with a centralized medical exam in Brazil or an equivalent international exam, such as ENAMED, USMLE, IFOM, PLAB/UKMLA, or AMC exam.

• Proficiency in English, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Availability for full-time or near-full-time work.

• Residency in Brazil or Germany.

• Technical literacy is advantageous, including experience with AI tools, data-driven decision-making, or basic programming skills.

• Prior experience as an AMBOSS user is a plus.

• Experience in creating educational content is beneficial.

• Must be a licensed physician.

• Must possess a valid work permit for the country of application.
