Associate, Market Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee market operations, including the establishment of new markets, configuration, timing of launches, and settlement processes.

• Offer operational assistance to Exchange Members concerning connectivity, market metadata, and issue resolution.

• Perform real-time market monitoring to detect anomalies and report any violations of trade practices.

• Analyze market activities to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for internal analysis.

• Collaborate with engineering and market structure teams to define operational needs for new features and launches.

• Maintain the relationship with the Exchange’s Clearinghouse partner to guarantee timely and precise funding for Exchange Member accounts.

• Coordinate with ecosystem partners to ensure the smooth operation of markets with adequate liquidity.

• Engage with regulators to uphold market integrity, compliance, and scalability.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of collaborating with partners in engineering, regulatory, analytics, and product teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of market structures, including order books, matching engines, market states, trading dynamics, and market ecosystems.

• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving urgent issues.

• Passion for prediction markets, sports trading, or financial markets.

• Willingness to provide shift coverage as necessary for real-time market surveillance.

• Previous experience in a trading role is advantageous but not mandatory.

• May need to obtain a gaming license from the relevant state agency as a prerequisite for employment.
