This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee assigned clinical trial laboratory projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure comprehension and application of protocol requirements.
• Lead activities related to study set-up, including reviewing protocols and budgets, conducting start-up meetings, and implementing project and risk management strategies.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, including trend analysis, scope modifications, and change orders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors.
• Manage client communications, meetings, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
• Promote timely, customer-oriented problem resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to eliminate study obstacles.
• Supervise the creation of protocol-specific laboratory instructional documents.
• Maintain laboratory specifications.
• Assist in proposal development and bid defense preparation.
• Establish sponsor- or program-specific standards and procedures.
• Document lessons learned and facilitate continuous improvement across projects and programs.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences and/or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated laboratory setting.
• At least 2 years of experience managing projects such as study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar company systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities.
• Experience with Laboratory Trial Management Systems (LTMS).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of English and clinical research terminology.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
