Associate General Counsel, Ads Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer legal counsel to the Ads Product and Engineering teams on a variety of initiatives.

• Provide guidance to teams developing products and features in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

• Act as the primary legal advisor for different areas within the ads product sector.

• Cultivate subject-matter expertise and spearhead cross-product initiatives.

• Establish principles and frameworks for product design in a shifting regulatory landscape.

• Counsel on AI-driven features, data-clean-room solutions, and advanced machine learning applications.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, business partners, commercial legal teams, ads policy, sales, privacy, and regulatory groups.

• Ensure compliance of products and features with global privacy and data regulations as well as internal policies.

• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve successful and timely project results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of legal experience with a strong emphasis on online advertising.

• Familiarity with the digital ads industry and the information systems and data flows that underpin it.

• In-depth understanding of technical ads infrastructure and emerging trends.

• Experience advising on the development of AI features in advertising is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, U.S. State Privacy Laws, IAB, NAI, DSA, and the EU AI Act.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, or capability to register as in-house counsel where applicable.

• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to swiftly process information, exercise sound judgment confidently and promptly, and articulate complex legal concepts succinctly.

• Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive timely project success.
