Legal Counsel, Part-Time/Full-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to internal teams regarding legal risks and assist in identifying practical, effective solutions.

• Assist the legal team with daily tasks, including contract drafting and inquiries related to commercial law.

• Contribute to new market entries, product launches, and strategic initiatives.

• Manage and enhance legal processes, templates, and documentation.

• Supervise the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure that contracts safeguard the company's interests and adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

• Facilitate business opportunities while ensuring legal compliance and minimizing legal and regulatory risks within the European e-commerce marketplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in an in-house legal department or a law firm.

• Familiarity with e-commerce or Austrian corporate law is advantageous.

• Strong generalist background with extensive experience in commercial law and compliance.

• Enthusiasm for addressing legal projects in other areas relevant to refurbed’s business.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.

• Additional language abilities, such as Italian, are a bonus.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to foresee legal risks and devise proactive solutions.

• Demonstrated project and stakeholder management expertise.

• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

• Degree in Austrian or German Law.

• Required experience in Austrian law.

• Valid right to work in Europe, including the UK.
