
Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +6 more states.
• Develop and enhance relationships with both established and emerging Medical Experts within the Dermatology sector.
• Conduct compliant engagements with Medical Experts to gather insights that support strategic business objectives.
• Facilitate meaningful discussions utilizing approved resources to guide marketing and educational strategies.
• Capture, synthesize, and relay actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist in peer-to-peer education programs through expert insights, speaker development, and educational planning.
• Moderate sanctioned educational programs and peer exchanges in line with company policies.
• Lead or assist in advisory boards, insight forums, speaker initiatives, and various marketing programs.
• Organize Medical Expert engagement activities for congresses, society gatherings, and external events.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress teams to implement cohesive strategies.
• Utilize digital tools and CRM platforms to improve engagement planning, insight generation, and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement, field-based marketing, regional marketing, HCP education, Medical Science Liaison, account management, medical communications, or a similar role in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Capacity to foster productive and compliant relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, and other relevant external stakeholders.
• Strong comprehension of field-based marketing, Medical Expert engagement, insight generation, peer-to-peer education, congress planning, and compliant cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to execute strategic plans, manage multiple priorities, and produce high-quality work in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence without authority, collaborate across various functions, and cultivate productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience with CRM, digital engagement, insight capture, or other productivity tools.
• Financial and budgetary knowledge.
• Proven commitment to compliance, ethical decision-making, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
• Experience/expertise in the Dermatology therapeutic area is preferred.
• Experience working collaboratively across Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, Congress Strategy, and Field Leadership is preferred.
