This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Reduce access and reimbursement interruptions by providing education to office personnel about payer coverage, policies, and acquisition pathways.
• Guide healthcare offices in independently overcoming access and reimbursement obstacles during the post-prescribing phase.
• Assist with complex access and reimbursement issues as required.
• Identify and prioritize barriers to implementation for resolution at customer locations.
• Create strategic plans that outline next steps, responsible parties, and completion timelines.
• Drive the closure of implementation barriers.
• Coordinate comprehensive plans across internal teams for aligned customers based on a common diagnosis.
• Act as a field-based, customer-facing educational resource for healthcare providers and office personnel.
• Function as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues impacting ViiV’s long-acting injectables.
• Streamline and enhance the injectable implementation experience for healthcare providers, patients living with HIV, and individuals who could benefit from HIV prevention within the designated geographic area.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• More than 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare reimbursement, specialty product support, payer marketing, patient support programs, or reimbursement HUB programs.
• Familiarity with J codes, Q codes, and reimbursement billing requirements.
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
• Strong understanding of payer channels including Medicare Parts B, C, D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Experience with specialty injected or infused products in buy-and-bill environments across various care settings.
• Background working with specialty pharmacy and reimbursement HUB services.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clarify complex systems and influence stakeholders.
• Strong relationship management, problem-solving, and independent execution abilities.
• Proven track record of effectively educating offices on access and reimbursement processes.
• Proactive execution excellence focused on streamlining and simplifying operations.
• Established indirect/direct leadership with a record of effective peer collaboration.
• Knowledge of associated accounts and existing customer relationships.
