This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and lead the organization’s advancement services function, including data management, reporting, analysis, and prospect research.
• Act as the primary Salesforce expert for the Development team, managing accounts, data fields, reports, and dashboards.
• Offer insights and training on building reports and using Salesforce effectively.
• Serve as a liaison between the Development and Tech teams to articulate priorities, troubleshoot CRM issues, and meet fundraising data requirements.
• Assist with Salesforce Agentforce for managing opportunities, creating accounts, and tracking interactions.
• Collaborate with the Tech Team to create innovative solutions that enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead prospect research efforts and serve as the iWave specialist.
• Generate hyperlinked donor profiles and screening reports.
• Collect and input prospect and donor data into Salesforce.
• Create and maintain standardized fundraising reports and dashboards.
• Design and enforce data hygiene protocols.
• Monitor and audit revenue data, including opportunities, pledges, and transactions.
• Review and enhance Salesforce standard operating procedures in conjunction with the Tech Team.
• Support strategic fundraising initiatives through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• 5–7 years of relevant fundraising experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social work, English, communications, management, public relations, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing administrative tasks such as record management, note-taking, and scheduling.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Canva, Salesforce, and Hive, or the ability to learn these tools quickly.
• Strong research skills applicable to fundraising, business, or related fields.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to learn rapidly and adapt to diverse tasks and challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work effectively and communicate with individuals from various backgrounds, fostering a cooperative team environment.
• Willingness to travel out of town overnight several times a year for staff offsites, planning retreats, and company-wide events.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Capability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Familiarity with the military community is preferred.
• Experience with membership-driven organizations is a plus.
