Associate Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Complete clearly defined sprint tasks with assistance from a Developer or Senior Developer.

• Write code for designated assignments that meet established acceptance criteria and team standards.

• Test modifications and incorporate appropriate unit tests with guidance.

• Clearly document changes for the benefit of team members.

• Request code reviews, address feedback, and apply insights to future assignments.

• Consistently utilize source control, branching, and work-item management practices.

• Track time and provide accurate updates in work items.

• Maintain an operational local development environment.

• Develop a working knowledge of Business Central, AL, React Native, TypeScript, and RUX products.

• Use authorized AI development tools responsibly.

• Proactively raise questions, identify blockers, highlight risks, and clarify ambiguous requirements.

• Complete enhancements, bug fixes, and technical tasks with regular support.

• Engage in sprint planning, daily coordination, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Validate assigned modifications against acceptance criteria prior to code review.

• Collaborate with the team to clarify expected behaviors and rectify defects.

• For mobile assignments, assist with UI modifications, API integrations, device testing, and platform-specific fixes.

• Aid in mobile build, signing, testing, and store submission activities.

• Strive for independent ownership of recurring features and deliverables expected at the Developer level.

• Support mobile releases for the Apple App Store and Google Play.

⛳️ Requirements

• Foundational software development knowledge acquired through a degree, certificate program, internship, professional experience, or equivalent project work.

• Basic proficiency in at least one relevant programming language or framework.

• Experience with AL, React Native, or TypeScript is advantageous.

• Working comprehension of programming fundamentals, debugging, testing, source control, and API concepts.

• Ability to adhere to defined requirements, ask pertinent questions, accept constructive feedback, document work, and collaborate effectively with team members.
