This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist the Business to Business Interiors team with client projects and presentations.
• Develop compelling design presentations that showcase product solutions to enhance sales and secure project wins.
• Specify customized furniture solutions across all 10 brands based on the client's design, functional, and budgetary needs.
• Create space plans, furniture layouts, and test fits for commercial projects.
• Balance design vision with operational needs, accessibility, and compliance with building codes.
• Oversee a portfolio of multiple projects while supporting project milestones and critical deadlines.
• Integrate the aesthetics of Williams-Sonoma brands while accommodating individual client preferences and requirements.
• Develop B2B business knowledge and identify product gaps, project trends, and client needs.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends.
• Collaborate effectively with sales, planning, operations, product development, sourcing, and design teams.
• Clearly communicate design intentions to cross-functional partners.
• Monitor and report on Interior Design project win/loss metrics.
• Contribute to processes, procedures, and ideas aimed at enhancing workflow and results.
• Transport materials and equipment, and occasionally lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Create a portfolio of projects for use in sales tools and marketing materials.
• A portfolio or website showcasing current and previous work experience.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or interior design.
• Experience in designing and/or specifying for commercial environments.
• A minimum of 3 years of preferred experience in commercial interior design.
• A strong passion for interiors, home furnishings, color, designer aesthetics, and industry trends.
• A solid understanding and enthusiasm for the Williams-Sonoma brands.
• Proficiency in graphics and visualization skills to convey design concepts.
• Familiarity with contract furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
• Technical expertise in construction documentation and all stages of the interior design process.
• Full proficiency with Mac operating systems.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and relevant 3D modeling software.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changes.
• Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to calendar adherence and ownership.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.
