This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and strategists to develop and implement communication projects across various media.
• Ensure that design, copy, and user experience work cohesively and align with strategic insights.
• Produce innovative creative work while influencing colleagues.
• Oversee projects from inception to completion, including outlines and initial manuscripts in accordance with brand strategy and creative guidelines.
• Create annotated reference materials and documents for editorial fact-checking and LMR review, adhering to client-specific and AMA style guidelines.
• Present creative work to clients and advocate for pieces during LMR meetings.
• Monitor changes during review processes and address any queries.
• Comprehend clients' and Avalere Health’s strategic and financial objectives.
• Gain mastery in clinical data and the competitive landscape for designated brands and accounts.
• Engage in staffing and assessing the scope of work.
• Advocate for creativity by sharing inspiring projects.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships.
• Mentor junior creatives and assist them in excelling.
• Manage delegation and workflow across various projects and brands.
• Empower team members to achieve their full potential.
• Efficiently and effectively manage multiple teams and work streams to ensure profitability.
• Communicate with project teams to maintain deliverables on schedule and track progress.
• Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, writing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Preferred experience in market access/patient support writing.
• Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring junior creatives.
• At least 9 years of creative copywriting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical writing.
• Required experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device sectors.
• Capability to direct writing and design for interactive, motion, and print projects.
• Strong customer service skills along with a commitment to delivering superior quality.
• Self-driven, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• A digital portfolio showcasing a diverse range of interactive work across multiple media channels and platforms.
• Proficient in PC or Mac with advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite.
