This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Showcase the significance and influence of the Impella® product range to physicians and hospital personnel.
• Counsel Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons regarding patient selection.
• Collaborate on training initiatives and participate in implant procedures.
• Offer detailed guidance on the optimal use of Impella® devices.
• Enhance patient outcomes through education and interaction with medical staff, encompassing clinical demonstrations and ongoing training.
• Gather clinically relevant data and conduct outcome evaluations with clients.
• Share activities with team members and sales associates.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of product features and therapy applications.
• Attend implant procedures and advise physicians and medical staff on proper usage and applications.
• Employ Integrity Selling techniques to elevate the standard of care and promote Impella usage.
• Organize one-on-one meetings and discussions with physicians.
• Facilitate dinner programs for physicians and staff.
• Work in conjunction with sales colleagues on awareness initiatives and franchise efforts.
• Over 2 years of direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support experience in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab, or Cardiovascular OR.
• More than 2 years of commercial sales experience connected to products and technologies in the cardiovascular sector.
• Capability to progress the sales process with clients.
• Ability to function effectively within a team environment.
• Willingness to be on-call for urgent patient care needs.
• Proven experience in delivering demonstrations and successful training sessions.
• Willingness to travel 50% within the designated territory.
• Perform roles and responsibilities in compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the medical device industry.
• Hands-on experience with Impella support is highly preferred.
• Previous experience as an Abiomed per diem is preferred.
• RN License is strongly preferred.
• ECMO experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to advocate effectively with physicians.
• Experience in providing clinical training.
• Participation in a sales incentive compensation program.
