
Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a portfolio of workers' compensation cases until resolution
• Prepare clients for their depositions
• Attend depositions
• Invoice for depositions
• Address client inquiries that necessitate attorney negotiations and advance cases towards resolution
• Manage incoming emails and phone calls
• Offer direction and support to non-attorney staff as required
• Exemplify leadership for non-attorneys
• Engage in team activities during and after business hours
• Provide constructive feedback to management
• Report directly to a designated Senior Associate
• Collaborate with paralegals and support personnel
• Candidates MUST hold a California State Bar license
• Must be a resident of California
• Must maintain good standing with the California State Bar
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with doctors' depositions (preferred)
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
• A degree is required
