Assistant Vice President – Appraisal Senior Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver financial analysis, risk evaluation, and analytical assistance for appraisals of varying complexities and loan amounts.

• Manage relationships with Real Estate divisions and perform credit analysis and oversight for both new and established connections.

• Utilize expertise in credit and risk across multiple real estate sectors.

• Enhance skills in credit assessment and capital structuring.

• Recognize, quantify, and alleviate risks.

• Collaborate with junior and senior colleagues in real estate to produce comprehensive appraisal reviews.

• Evaluate risk in business decisions while protecting Citi, its clients, and its assets.

• Promote adherence to relevant laws, rules, and regulations.

• Exercise sound ethical judgment concerning personal conduct, behavior, and business practices.

• Identify, manage, and report control issues with transparency.

• Mentor and train new hires.

• Influence decision-making through guidance, advice, and facilitation within your area of expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of prior risk management experience is essential.

• State certification in residential appraisal is mandatory.

• Field experience in appraisals is preferred.

• Previous experience in appraisal review is advantageous.

• A Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Strong analytical abilities to filter, prioritize, and verify complex and dynamic information from various sources.

• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are necessary.

• Capacity to take on leadership roles and mentor new recruits.

• Understanding of credit and risks across different real estate sectors.

• Ability to identify and quantify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

• Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, policies, ethical considerations, and control processes.
