Assistant Manager – Platforms, BPM, RPA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Deliver L1/L2 production assistance for the EDMS application.

• Offer production support for digital platforms such as EDMS, BAW, and RPA.

• Oversee intricate production support operations.

• Undertake project manager/lead duties for minor Power Automate modifications and enhancements.

• Create status updates, periodic reports, and ad-hoc reports.

• Provide reporting and updates on production support and project status.

• Supervise the team responsible for RPA process initiation, execution, and monitoring.

• Instruct the team to escalate alerts via phone calls, emails, and incident tickets to the appropriate process team.

• Collaborate with users and Technology teams for the exchange of data-related information.

• Coordinate with Application Technology teams for the exchange of process-related information.

• Validate data on the RPA dashboard and raise alerts for any discrepancies.

• Manage a diverse team of onshore, offshore, and vendor resources accountable for the EDMS application.

• Evaluate initiatives to support and enhance systems while providing recommendations.

• Manage stakeholders across business, technology, and client domains.

• Ensure alignment of projects and initiatives with business goals, acting as the highest level of internal escalation for projects.

• Lead compliance efforts with PMO, QMS, risk, audit, and architectural guidelines.

• Contribute to the annual technology roadmap and ensure accurate reporting of project financials and estimates.

• Guide the Platform team in delivering effective platform solutions.

• Align strategic vendor partnerships with industry roadmaps and business strategies.

• Assist in defining requirements and concepts while verifying developed functionalities and resolutions.

• Transform regulatory requirements into business needs.

• Manage regulatory controls, audit requirements, and risks affecting data security, system downtime, and incidents.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and team members on product development and delivery.

• Optimize platform delivery, enhance business value, and assess platform value through metrics.

• Communicate and demonstrate the purpose and value of delivered solutions.

• Define technology frameworks and steer technology selection and implementation.

• Employ Agile engineering practices and ML software development technologies to create solutions.

• Engage the team in review and planning sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the Production support role related to Application Production Support and RPA technology.

• Familiarity with the workings of the Microsoft Power Automate RPA tool.

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Weblogic Webserver and Oracle database.

• Strong understanding of Java code and Unix/Linux commands.

• Proficient team management skills.

• Good to excellent English communication abilities.

• Experience collaborating with business users as part of BAU activities.

• Capability to identify and escalate alerts regarding application risks.

• Ability to coordinate patching activities and resolve vulnerabilities.

• Proficient in conducting volume-metric analysis on application performance and issuing timely alerts.

• Availability for on-call shifts to meet SLA requirements.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Willingness to provide support during off-business hours if required.
