This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer instructional and academic support to students in various courses
• Provide individualized coaching and consultation
• Develop instructional materials and resources utilizing text, video, and other technologies
• Conduct office hours or group study sessions
• Foster an online community that encourages learning and continuous enhancement
• Lead and engage in discussions within the courseroom
• Organize and facilitate optional weekly interactive and collaborative study and review sessions
• Evaluate learning and understanding through course competency assessments, informal evaluations, and formal rubric-based assessments
• Stay updated with technologies such as Civitas, Outlook, and Kaltura
• Maintain sufficient learner records
• Participate in training, team meetings, and learner appointments during some regular business hours
• Monitor the courseroom on weekends
• Experience in teaching or tutoring
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Proponent of social media and mobile technology
• Willingness to adapt to changes in technological and pedagogical methodologies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Capability to effectively interact with faculty, coaches, and students
• Proven time management skills
• Skills in relationship-building, customer service, and problem resolution
• Strong focus on detail, initiative, and follow-through
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor
• Understanding of adult learning theories and practices, including learning contracts, collaborative learning, and active learning strategies
• Ability to assess the learning needs of individuals and groups and articulate concepts in various ways
• Experience working with diverse learning styles
• Comfortable utilizing technology to enhance learning
• 1–3 years of experience in the field as a BCBA is required
• Must have completed a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a relevant discipline for graduate-course instruction
• Must hold BCBA certification
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Visa sponsorship is not available
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week when necessary for business needs
