This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer instructional and academic assistance to students in various courses
• Provide personalized coaching and consultation
• Develop and supply instructional materials and learning resources
• Conduct office hours or group study sessions
• Establish an online learning community dedicated to continuous improvement
• Utilize text, video, and other technologies to enhance learner engagement while supporting course content and skill development
• Lead and participate in discussions within the courseroom
• Organize and facilitate optional weekly interactive, collaborative study and review sessions
• Evaluate learning and understanding through course competency assessments, informal evaluations, and formal rubric-based assessments
• Stay updated on technologies such as Civitas, Outlook, and Kaltura
• Maintain comprehensive learner records
• Check into the courseroom during weekends
• Engage in training, team meetings, and learner appointments during regular business hours as needed
• Experience in teaching or tutoring roles
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Proficient in social media and mobile technology
• Ability to adapt to changes in technological and pedagogical methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to interact effectively with faculty, coaches, and learners
• Proven time management abilities
• Exceptional skills in relationship-building, customer service, and problem-solving
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and uphold a professional demeanor
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and practices, including learning contracts, collaborative learning, and active learning strategies
• Aptitude for assessing individual and group learning needs and explaining concepts in various ways
• Experience with diverse learning styles
• Comfortable using technology to enhance the learning process
• 1-3 years of experience as a BCBA is required
• 1-3 years of teaching experience at the graduate level, particularly in an online environment, is preferred
• Must have completed a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the relevant discipline for graduate courses
• Must hold BCBA certification
• Authorization to work in the United States is required
• Visa sponsorship is not available
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time
• Capability to lift 25 lbs
• Availability to work over 40 hours a week when business demands arise
• Proficient in accessing information using a computer
• Ability to communicate effectively up and down the management chain
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
• Strong mental acuity is essential
