This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist instructional faculty by engaging with students in large online classrooms.
• Develop and execute communication and additional instructional strategies to promote student success.
• Evaluate student participation in discussions and assessments, responding according to training and input from the lead instructor.
• Help manage student communications.
• Refer unique issues to the lead instructor.
• Support grading activities and offer constructive feedback.
• Monitor student engagement and suggest methods to enhance participation.
• Provide tutoring, live sessions, and other forms of student support as needed.
• Assist with outreach efforts to students.
• Contribute to the creation of supplementary support documents, videos, and job aids.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Commit to 25 hours per week in support of the online undergraduate WRK100: Preparing for the Future of Work course.
• Availability during required evening and weekend hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Report to key Faculty roles within the assigned team.
• Professional experience in the business field is essential.
• Prior teaching experience is required.
• Experience in online teaching is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in Business or a related field is mandatory.
• A Doctorate in Business or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to engage effectively with faculty, coaches, and learners.
• Strong time management capabilities.
• Skills in relationship-building, customer service, and problem resolution.
• High attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through are required.
• Experience accommodating diverse learning styles.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning.
• Ability to access information via computer.
• Effective communication skills throughout the management hierarchy.
• Capacity to handle stressful situations.
• Consistent attendance record.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• High mental acuity.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
