Assistant Buyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold optimal assortments by category/collection in line with the assortment segmentation strategy, addressing store-specific requirements based on capacity, sales volume, and demographics.

• Liaise with merchandising, inventory, and visual merchandising teams to communicate and manage changes in assortment.

• Conduct a bi-annual analysis of frame collection sales trends by segment for each network brand or as required.

• Propose merchandising assortment adjustments by cluster to maximize profit margins.

• Support buyers in the selection and organization of samples for each category.

• Request new samples and facilitate their coordination.

• Assist buyers with SKU attribute setup, collaborating with vendors as necessary.

• Aid buyers in entering orders, managing frame samples, generating selling reports, and executing other related processes.

• Address inquiries and requests from stores, resolving customer or store-related issues.

• Adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and security policies.

• Perform additional essential duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, Associate degree, or comparable work experience.

• Three to Five (3-5) years of relevant work experience.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to execute detailed tasks and processes efficiently.

• Strong focus on customer service.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong mathematical skills relevant to retail.

• Capability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages; also to create and interpret graphs.

• Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.

• Ability to logically think through procedures and instructions.

• Capability to sit, stand, walk, reach, use hands, talk, and hear as necessary.

• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

• Ability to adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and data security regulations.
