Asset Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Process and evaluate construction draw requests, ensuring that all documentation, inspections, and disbursement approvals adhere to company policies.

• Oversee the loan portfolio for overdue payments and proactively engage with borrowers to address delinquencies.

• Monitor upcoming loan maturities and manage communication with borrowers regarding extensions, payoffs, or refinancing coordination.

• Act as the primary liaison for borrower communications concerning draws, servicing, extensions, insurance, and general loan status inquiries.

• Follow up on insurance certificates and tax documents, ensuring that coverage is up-to-date and compliant with loan requirements.

• Collaborate with third-party servicers on payment processing, manage payoff requests, and handle associated reporting.

• Keep accurate and current loan records in internal systems.

• Identify and escalate loans or borrower issues that may be at risk to the relevant internal team.

• Assist with various asset management projects and reporting as necessary.

• Address a variety of operational tasks to support the lending and servicing teams.

• Recognize and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in loan servicing, asset management, mortgage operations, or a related field (real estate/lending experience is highly preferred).

• Familiarity with construction draw processes, loan servicing workflows, or borrower-facing collections is advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to manage borrower interactions professionally under time constraints.

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple loans and deadlines concurrently.

• Proficient in Excel and CRM/loan servicing platforms (HubSpot experience is a plus).

• A self-motivated individual who can work independently and identify potential issues before they escalate.
