Assessment Design Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with clients to define both short-term and long-term objectives, while developing activity schedules for test development throughout the year.

• Execute job analyses and standard settings in accordance with industry best practices.

• Partner with the Business Development, Sales, and Client Advocacy teams in crafting proposals and take part in sales meetings.

• Act as a representative of Assessment Services in various client, internal departmental, and cross-functional meetings.

• Ensure that all work products align with both company and industry standards.

• Complete assignments according to established timelines, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

• Create planning documents and technical reports tailored for clients.

• Organize, prioritize, and finalize project tasks within agreed contractual timelines.

• Attain proficiency in Prometric’s proprietary internal technology platforms.

• Adhere to established procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with item security practices.

• Facilitate both in-person and web-based meetings for client stakeholders.

• Assist with accreditation, compliance, and audit activities associated with assessment programs.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in education, measurement, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least three years of prior experience in the test development sector within education or professional certification/licensure.

• Familiarity with validity theory and measurement concepts.

• Prior experience in leading job analysis and standard-setting workshops, in both in-person and remote formats.

• Strong skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship management.

• Capability to compose detailed technical reports documenting the test development processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• A proven track record of dependability and a strong commitment to security.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently, work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Capacity to meet quality, service, and productivity standards.

• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Preference will be given to candidates with five to eight years of experience.
