This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and organize the 24-month content roadmap for the Potential & Placement portfolio.
• Spearhead the discovery and blueprint strategy for the Iowa Assessments and other product lines within the portfolio.
• Examine emerging placement metrics and develop business cases for new additions to the roadmap.
• Collaborate with the Platform Product Management team to establish requirements for each new content integration.
• Supervise the execution of the CogAT assessment build and the creation of materials for new-version product launches.
• Ensure the accuracy of product documentation and review messaging directed at customers.
• Be responsible for the QA/UAT process for every new content integration.
• Act as the product owner for content workstreams during sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Cultivate relationships and provide thought leadership with the CogAT, Iowa, and easyCBM author groups.
• Collaborate with Research, Reach, and Product leadership to define content and platform needs, directly channeling customer insights into the broader Reach build and roadmap.
• Track usage data and compile customer insights to identify both existing and new product use cases.
• 3-5 years of experience in product management within assessment, K-12 education, or other content-focused or regulated environments.
• Experience as a K-12 district/school coordinator or administrator.
• Proven track record of guiding a content roadmap from market discovery through business case development, execution, and launch.
• Manages relationships with external authors or partners, translating subject-matter expertise into product requirements.
• Responsible for content and documentation QA, ensuring accuracy and compliance prior to customer-facing releases.
• Capable of building and presenting business cases and roadmap recommendations to senior leadership.
• Communicates effectively and persuasively, both in writing and verbally.
• Preferred: Experience in making assessment and/or student placement decisions within a K-12 district or school setting.
• Preferred: Knowledge of psychometric or assessment design principles, including norming, scoring, and administration fidelity.
• Preferred: Experience in developing new measures or products from market discovery through business case development.
• Preferred: Familiarity with FERPA, COPPA, or other student-data compliance considerations.
• Preferred: Demonstrated ability to present to and gain buy-in from senior leadership.
