ASL Interpreter, Multiple Roles

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately interpret between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English.

• Follow Bond’s policies and procedures as well as the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor towards customers and colleagues.

• Collaborate effectively within a team, offering and receiving support.

• Engage in testing and refining Bond’s technological solutions.

• Collaborate closely with product, technology, and operations teams to enhance tools, workflows, and the interpreter experience.

• Provide real-time feedback to improve service delivery and customer interactions.

• Ensure compliance with relevant national, state, and local licensure and/or certification requirements.

• Arrive prepared and on time for each interpreting assignment.

• Adapt to changes in assignments with flexibility.

• Assume additional responsibilities as required in a dynamic startup setting.

• High level of proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.

• Dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.

• Must possess RID or BEI certification.

• Required to successfully pass a skills screening assessment.

• Experience interpreting for Deaf professionals in a workplace setting.

• Capability to pass the necessary skill assessment.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Previous interpretation experience is required; specifics may vary by opportunity.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and complete assigned shifts.

• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment.

• RID or BEI Advanced/Master certification is required for certain positions.

• Maintain compliance with applicable national, state, and local licensure and/or certification requirements.
