Asbestos Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute testing, inspection, and reporting adhering to the highest standards.

• Ensure adherence to SOCOTEC's quality protocols and Health & Safety regulations.

• Perform asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting, and conduct four-stage clearance tests.

• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.

• Uphold a clean and safe work environment.

• Document and distribute precise analytical reports.

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to complete tasks within agreed timelines.

• Discover opportunities to enhance SOCOTEC's broader services.

• Identify, monitor, and analyze asbestos to protect buildings and their occupants.

• Assist in projects across the defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and service sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Air Monitoring.

• Relevant industry experience is essential, with a confirmed track record in a similar position.

• Valid UK driving licence required.

• Willingness to travel is necessary.

• Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Strong client-facing abilities, with confidence in liaising with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.

• Excellent attention to detail and precision in data collection and report writing.

• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
