Asbestos Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform testing, inspections, and reporting to the utmost standards.

• Ensure adherence to SOCOTEC's quality protocols and Health & Safety regulations.

• Carry out asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting, and four-stage clearance assessments.

• Maintain and calibrate necessary equipment.

• Uphold a clean and safe working environment.

• Accurately record and distribute analytical reports.

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines.

• Spot opportunities to enhance SOCOTEC’s broader service offerings.

• Assist in asbestos analysis and environmental, health, and safety consultancy services across sectors such as defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess BOHS P403 and P404 certifications or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Air Monitoring.

• Relevant industry experience is crucial, demonstrating a solid record in a similar position.

• Hold a full UK driving licence.

• Willingness to travel is essential.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent client-facing abilities and confidence in liaising with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail and precision in data collection and report writing.

• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
