This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Plan and manage projects by defining their scope, gathering requirements, and validating these with clients.
• Collaborate with relevant client and internal stakeholders to plan and allocate resources for projects while adhering to quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Perform risk analysis and develop contingency plans using the plan-do-check-act cycle.
• Guide both internal and external teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
• Develop project schedules and track delivery timelines.
• Oversee budgets and manage project costs effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, internal teams, and external suppliers.
• Supervise project activities and address issues through corrective and preventive measures.
• Enhance delivery efficiency, client satisfaction, quality, and profitability.
• Communicate project scope, financials, progress, and status to both internal and external stakeholders through written and verbal updates.
• Ensure finance systems are up to date and accurate.
• Document processes and manage knowledge effectively.
• Maintain project profitability through careful margin management.
• Deliver services in accordance with project management KPIs, including client satisfaction, on-time delivery, cost control, profitability, revenue throughput, and client growth.
• Report directly to the Enterprise Program Manager.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a college or university in a related field.
• Proven experience in project management within a fast-paced, client-focused environment, preferably in the translation or localization sector.
• In-depth knowledge of the translation industry, including its technology, processes, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
• Track record of successfully managing large accounts and/or projects.
• A curious and creative mindset to question existing processes and introduce innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in developing processes and new ideas.
• Proficient in financial management and budget-to-actual oversight.
• Strong customer relationship management and business development skills to foster organic growth.
• Willingness to travel for work-related obligations.
• A positive attitude and high energy paired with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead large, diverse, virtual teams effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
