This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee all commercial initiatives within a specified territory.
• Manage sales efforts and provide clinical support for patient implants within the territory.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, including the multidisciplinary teams responsible for post-implant patient care.
• Engage with physicians and purchasing decision-makers through phone, email, video, and in-person meetings.
• Represent and promote the company at conferences, seminars, and symposia to enhance market visibility and interest.
• Communicate and work together with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
• Carry out the entire sales process, encompassing opportunity prioritization, forecasting, technical sales qualification, customer presentation preparation, follow-up, and achieving sales goals.
• Monitor and report sales activities using the company’s CRM system.
• Generate leads through ongoing evaluation and enhancement of methodologies.
• Acquire and showcase extensive clinical and technical product knowledge.
• Mentor and train team members as the organization expands.
• Undertake additional responsibilities to support organizational success and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 6 years of proven successful sales experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, specifically selling physician preference therapies in a hospital environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience selling to interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, and vascular surgeons in hospital, OR, and/or cath lab settings for PAD/CLTI patients.
• Proven ability to effectively establish new medical device therapies.
• Knowledge and experience in peripheral arterial and/or venous disease, covering anatomy, pathophysiology, and available therapies.
• Capability to proctor and support endovascular interventions in the cath lab.
• Understanding of wound care management in relation to CLTI patient care.
• Flexibility to work in various settings such as OR, cath lab, and vascular suite while consulting with clinicians.
• High motivation and initiative with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in mentoring and training sales representatives and clinical specialists.
• Proven success in managing hospitals’ Value Analysis Committee (VAC) processes.
• Ability to understand, utilize, and implement technology applications (SalesForce) for territory management and providing weekly updates to senior management.
• Demonstrated business acumen with capabilities in sales, clinical, reimbursement, and training functions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities; highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Capability to lift or carry over 20 pounds and wear necessary personal protective equipment in hospital settings.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically by plane and car, including extended overnight stays.
• Extensive use of computers.
• Ability to sit, stand, and speak for extended periods.
• Familiarity with the reimbursement process is preferred.
