This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Gain insights into the publishing industry.

• Contribute to the Art and Design department across adult, children’s, or corporate divisions.

• Design book covers and interior layouts.

• Prepare mechanical files for both hardcover and paperback formats.

• Perform research on images, typography, and illustrators.

• Develop assets for social media.

• Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams on visual packaging strategies.

• Experience the publishing process through panels, networking opportunities, and speaker series with employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be prepared to work full-time by June 2028.

• Capable of committing to 28 hours per week during the program.

• Available and dedicated to work from June 7, 2027, to August 12, 2027.

• Must reside in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship program.

• Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

• Submission of a resume, cover letter, and portfolio is required.

• A portfolio is mandatory; applications lacking a portfolio will not be considered.

• Ability to work primarily on Eastern Time is essential.
