This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead, develop, and enhance a high-performing team of Mortgage Loan Officers throughout the region.
• Oversee the recruiting strategy, pipeline development, and hiring processes for Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Direct the onboarding process, performance ramp-up, and integration of new MLOs.
• Implement sales strategies to surpass both individual and team production targets.
• Track production performance in relation to monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
• Conduct regular business reviews to ensure that documented business plans are being achieved.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with business partners across the designated region.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to enter or grow in new markets.
• Represent FourLeaf at industry events, networking functions, community gatherings, and professional associations.
• Organize educational sessions, seminars, and workshops.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Senior Leadership on local outreach and market initiatives.
• Provide insights on competitive market trends, product requirements, pricing, and growth strategies.
• Address risks related to team engagement and retention.
• Foster a supportive, performance-driven atmosphere that promotes collaboration, development, and career advancement.
• Ensure that MLO business plans are created, documented, and executed.
• Maintain compliance with BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations.
• Support the overall business channel with assigned projects and responsibilities.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage lending.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven track record of success in mortgage origination.
• Strong understanding of residential lending products.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, and inspire Mortgage Loan Officers in a production-focused environment.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and nurturing MLO talent.
• Ability to establish and maintain robust recruiting pipelines.
• NMLS certification required.
• Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations.
• Current knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and industry standards.
