Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Transform sales leads into lucrative business opportunities, optimizing revenue across existing, new, and target accounts.

• Establish and nurture robust, long-lasting relationships with merchants, distributors, builders, and contractors.

• Proactively seek out and cultivate new business opportunities within the marketplace.

• Keep accurate and current records utilizing Salesforce.

• Prepare and present clear, timely, and competitive quotations and proposals customized to meet customer needs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to synchronize resources and ensure alignment with customer requirements.

• Offer expert product knowledge and guidance across the entire product range.

• Identify opportunities for expanding business within existing accounts and attracting new clients from competitors.

• Contribute to sales strategies, bids, and overall business growth initiatives.

• Assist in the launch and promotion of new products within the designated territory.

• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

• Conduct regular site visits to guarantee product specifications are fulfilled and opportunities are fully leveraged.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in an external sales or account management position.

• Background in the construction sector, particularly with merchants or distributors.

• Strong organizational and planning abilities with the capacity to manage a demanding territory.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in creating accurate quotations, proposals, and presentations.

• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Willingness to travel across the UK as needed.

• Candidates are ideally located in or around Swindon, South Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath, Avon, or Salisbury.
