
Area Sales Leader – Urology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.
• Formulate and implement quarterly business strategies to meet capital system sales, procedural growth, and disposable revenue objectives within the designated territory.
• Establish and sustain a strategic territory plan that encompasses account segmentation, funnel management, forecast updates, and prioritization of launches.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians, nurses, administrators, value analysis stakeholders, and economic buyers to gain insight into customer needs, decision-making processes, and funding avenues.
• Facilitate product, technical, and clinical discussions and demonstrations to aid in the evaluation, conversion, and adoption of Monarch Urology.
• Articulate value propositions and work collaboratively with sales leadership on pricing, program conditions, and commercial strategies.
• Oversee post-sale installation readiness, training, launch support, and adoption strategies alongside Clinical Representatives, service partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist customers in accomplishing clinical, operational, and economic objectives while fostering long-term utilization and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Regional Business Director and Clinical Representative to implement referral education, account development, and utilization growth tactics.
• Maintain expert-level understanding of Monarch Urology products, kidney stone treatment workflows, customer economics, and competitive market dynamics.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, healthcare industry regulations, and relevant quality standards.
• A bachelor’s degree is required at a minimum.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, medical device, business-to-business sales, or a related field is necessary for entry-level roles.
• Preferred candidates will have 4 or more years of relevant experience for more advanced positions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, complex medical sales, or similar roles is preferred.
• Proven ability to learn and convey technical product information, clinical concepts, and economic value to physicians and economic buyers.
• Strong capabilities in business planning, forecasting, opportunity management, and account strategy.
• Experience in urology, endourology, robotics, or operating room-based sales is preferred.
• Ability to work in hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments, including attending live patient cases and utilizing necessary protective equipment.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips, up to 75% within the assigned territory.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Capability to operate in a regulated environment while adhering to applicable quality and healthcare industry standards.
