Area Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of Promotional Specialists to carry out both on- and off-premise sampling initiatives.

• Oversee daily market operations, including staffing promotions, coaching specialists, and maintaining client standards.

• Serve as the local point of contact for client field marketing efforts.

• Collect client product and industry insights and report on competitive activities.

• Staff on-premise, off-premise, brand, trade, and special events.

• Conduct spot checks and debriefings to assess program effectiveness.

• Address performance issues and manage conflict resolution for part-time specialists.

• Oversee promotional materials, inventory, storage units, client equipment, and assets.

• Provide guidance, feedback, motivation, and leadership to the Promotional Specialists.

• Monitor and audit daily budget expenditures and manage overall program budgets.

• Complete expense reports, calendars, execution tracking, records, and other administrative tasks.

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and uphold the integrity of reported information.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the adult beverage industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with on/off-premise marketing strategies is essential.

• Previous experience with a promotional agency is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities are required.

• Capability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Reliable transportation is necessary.

• Access to a smartphone is required.

• Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and event assets as needed.
